Joan loved Danish design. In this early ink drawing of a Suffolk schoolhouse she evokes a wintery Scandinavian scene, contrasting the building's rich black-painted clapboard exterior with the bare leafless trees.
Textured card (21 x 15 cms) plus brown envelope in cellophane wrap.
