'Wodwo was Ted Hughes' first book for adults since Lupercal in 1960. It consists principally of the poems written in the years since then, but it also contains five stories and one radio play.'

First edition hardback. Some rubbing and minor tearing to dustjacket at top and bottom of spine section and light rubbing along top and bottom edges of dustjacket more generally. Some sunning / marking of spine and light marking visible to back cover. Dustjacket has subsequently been covered with a dustjacket cover to avoid further wear.

Some light wear to clothbound boards, particularly in the form of rubbing to top and bottom edge of spine. Gift dedication / inscription to opening blank page. On the whole, the book remains in good+ condition with clean, unmarked pages which are free from further inscriptions, notes and underlinings.
