The Secret Life of Robinson Crusoe by Humphrey Richardson (Olympia Press Traveller's Companion Series No 13 / 1962)

The Olympia Press was a French Publishing house established by Maurice Girodias, which specialised in the publication of pornography / erotica (often penned anonymously by writers who subsequently went on to achieve fame. However, in addition to these risqué works, Olympia Press also published numerous cutting-edge works by literary writers whose work was prohibited in their own countries, such as Samuel Beckett, William Burroughs, Vladimir Nabakov, Alexander Trocchi and J. P. Donleavy. It was able to do so by publishing the novels in the English language only, hence the 'Traveller's Companion' label.

An early novel in the Traveller's Companions series, this earthy work speculates on what Robinson crusoe might have gotten up to, sexually, on his island.

Seeming first edition softcover. Some ver light creasing to front cover but in very good  condition overall
