Part of the Collins 'British People in Pictures' series, and featuring eight plates in colour and nineteen black and white illustrations.

First edition hardback. Some light wear to dustjacket, chiefly in the form of rubbing and minor tearing at top of spine, but further deterioration has been prevented via the historical application of a mylar dustjacket cover. Hence, this copy remains in very good condition with clean, unmarked pages which are free from notes and inscriptions and very light wear only to pictorial boards and spine.
