First appearing in 1946, J. B. Priestley's Bright Day was a huge critical success. Its message of hope and promise echoed the expectations of a nation after the long dark years of war. This beautifully produced sixtieth anniversary edition comes with the addition of two further sections: a biography of Priestley and a ‘literary tour’ of Bruddersford (the imaginary setting for the book based on Priestley’s home town of Bradford).
Hardcover. Some very light marking to top of back of dustjacket but otherwise this book remains in excellent / near fine condition.
