Beautiful, quintessentially Victorian, illustrations in this children's book by British artist, Alice Goyder. Born in 1875, she was best known for her depictions of animals and landscapes. However, though created in 1893, her 'Catland' books only came to light following her passing in 1964.

First edition hardcover. Some light foxing / spotting to top edge of text block / paper stock, but otherwise this book remains in VERY GOOD condition with clean, unmarked pages which are free from inscriptions.
