Except for Cicero's correspondence, few specimens of Roman letter-writing survive. As such, Cicero's letters are uniquely interesting even aside from their enormous value as a source of historical information.
Nice edition of a classic study. Softcover. Some signs of book having been very carefully read and light signs of shelfwear commensurate with age, but binding remains tight and on the whole this book remains in very good condition with clean, unmarked pages which are free from notes and inscriptions.
